Mischief returns at this year’s Púca Festival. From October 29 to November 1, Trim and Athboy in County Meath will come alive with music, comedy, circus and storytelling to celebrate the origin of Halloween and the Celtic new year.
Catch major gigs from The Coronas and Hothouse Flowers, comedy nights with Shane Daniel Byrne and Enya Martin, mischievous entertainment from the Samhain Circus and Sorcas na Samhna and burlesque performances from Bluebird Absurd.
Walking tours, workshops and more will bring Irish mythology to life throughout the festival, alongside the epic Púca Procession and lighting of the Samhain fire. Step into the spirit of Halloween and discover the ancient traditions that started it all.

As the Celtic year draws to a close, Athboy and Trim in County Meath come alive with music, comedy, circus and storytelling in a huge Halloween celebration called the Púca Festival. Honouring both the Celtic New Year and the ancient Irish tradition of Samhain, the 2026 edition runs from October 29 to November 1.
