For a family fun day out this August, do Limerick Greenway your way and Embrace the Unexpected

29th July: The public is being encouraged to explore the scenic 40km off-road experience this August bank-holiday weekend with activities and adventures for all in each of the Hub towns plus on Limerick Greenway itself. Visitors are invited to check out some fun at Barnagh Greenway Hub, including Barnagh’s two-day Summer Baking camp, taking place on Tuesday 6th – Wednesday 7th August from 10am – 2pm. Limerick Greenway’s accessible 40km off-road experience is continuing to enhance visitor facilities, maintaining its current world-class offering while also providing something new to create a different kind of energy.

Limerick Greenway was designed with mobility in mind and is safe and suitable for users of all abilities and ages to visit and enjoy. With thoughtfully designed pathways and facilities, Limerick Greenway embraces diversity, creating an environment where families, friends, and solo adventurers can connect with nature and each other.

The five hub destinations along Limerick Greenway include Rathkeale, Ardagh, Newcastle West, Barnagh and Abbeyfeale. Visitors can start their journey at any of the entry points located along the way and can seamlessly continue their journey from Abbeyfeale across the Limerick-Kerry border and onto Listowel.
