Rock Farm Slane now joins a select group of tourism businesses around the world recognised by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) for meeting the highest global standards in sustainable tourism. The GSTC is an independent and neutral organisation that establishes and manages global standards for sustainable travel and tourism, known as the GSTC Standards – the result of a worldwide effort to develop a common language about sustainability in tourism.  The recent Eco-Tourism Label recognises Rock Farm Slane’s holistic approach to sustainability, from zero-waste policies and renewable energy systems to its leadership in organic farming, rewilding, and biodiversity protection.
